Ketonal cream 5% 30g

Ketonal Indications

Pain in the muscles and joints, causing injury or damage.

Tenosynovitis.

Application

adults and children over the age of 15 years Ketonal cream applied to the skin of the affected area with a thin layer 2 times a day (gel – 1-2 times) and gently rubbed it. The amount of cream, gel, depends on the size of the affected area (5 cm gel correspond to 100 mg of ketoprofen, 10 cm – 200 mg ketoprofen). Use with occlusive dressing is not recommended.

Duration of treatment is 7-10 days. After applying the gel, cream should wash their hands. Ketonal cream or gel may be used in combinations with other dosage forms (capsules, tablets, suppositories). The total maximum daily dose should not exceed 200 mg ketoprofen, regardless of the dosage form.

Contradictions

Hypersensitivity to ketoprofen or to any component of the drug, salicylates and other NSAIDs. A history of asthma attacks and rhinitis after administration of NSAIDs and salicylates (such as aspirin), fenofibrate, tiaprofenic acid. A history of photosensitivity reactions, skin allergic reactions after using cosmetics with UV blockers.

Exacerbation of peptic ulcers of the stomach or duodenum; gastrointestinal bleeding in history; chronic dyspepsia (discomfort and pain in the upper abdomen); severe renal insufficiency.

Cream / Gel should not be applied to the affected skin (hives, eczema, acne, dermatitis, open and infected wounds). Do not use sealed bandages. Last trimester of pregnancy and lactation. Children under 15 years old.
