Piaron Indications

Pain during teething, toothache, sore throat, fever, colds, flu and childhood infections such as chicken pox, whooping cough, measles, mumps (mumps).

It is also recommended for the treatment postvaccinal hyperthermia in infants aged 2-3 months.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug, severe hepatic dysfunction and / or kidney disease, congenital hyperbilirubinemia, deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, alcohol, blood diseases, Gilbert’s syndrome, severe anemia, leucopenia.

Dosage & Administration

The drug is intended for oral administration.

Children aged from 2 months to 12 years.

The drug is administered orally. The dose of paracetamol for all children depends on the age and body weight.

A single dose of acetaminophen is about 10-15 mg / kg body weight, with a maximum daily dose – 60 mg / kg body weight. If necessary, the drug can be repeated every 4-6 hours. Do not take more than 4 doses per day and more than 4 hours.

The maximum period of use of the drug without a doctor’s recommendation – 3 days.

Children aged 2-3 months: treatment for symptomatic reactions to vaccination a single dose applied 2.5 ml of the suspension. If necessary, the dose may be repeated reception, but not earlier than 4 h. If the child’s body temperature does not decrease after repeated doses, should consult a doctor. Further use of the drug for children of this age is possible only under a doctor’s supervision.

Children aged from 3 months to 12 years. Find the dose table that corresponds to the weight of the child. If the weight of the baby is unknown, search for it in the dose table that corresponds to the age of the child.
