Tobradex ointment 3.5g

Tobradex ointment Composition:
active ingredients: tobramycin, dexamethasone; 1 g of ointment contains tobramycin 3 mg and dexamethasone 1 mg; excipients: anhydrous chlorobutanol, mineral oil, white soft paraffin.

Pharmacotherapeutic group:
Anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial agents in combination. Corticosteroids and antimicrobials in combination. ATX code S01C A01.

Indications:
Eye inflammation in steroid-sensitive patients in whom corticosteroid use is indicated and there is a superficial bacterial infection or the risk of developing a bacterial eye infection. These inflammations can occur after surgery (removal of cataracts) or can be caused by an infection, a foreign body in the eye, or an eye injury.

Shelf life:
2 years. The shelf life after opening the tube is 1 month.
