Zolmigren spray 2.5-5mg/dose 2ml/flacon

Zolmigren Composition:
active ingredient: zolmitriptan;

1 dose contains zolmitriptan 2.5 mg or 5 mg;

excipients: benzalkonium chloride, citric acid, acid; sodium phosphate, dihydrate; dexpanthenol; purified water.

Pharmacotherapeutic group:
Migraine medications. Selective 5-HT 1 serotonin receptor agonists. Zolmitriptan. ATX code N02C C03.

Indications:
Relief of a migraine attack with and without aura.

Dosage and administration:
Zolmigren Spray is not intended for use in the prevention of migraine attacks. After the onset of a migraine attack, it is recommended to use the drug as soon as possible. The initial recommended dose is 2.5 mg, which corresponds to one spray of Zolmigren Spray at a dosage of 2.5 mg/dose. The maximum recommended dose is 5 mg, which corresponds to one spray of Zolmigren® Spray at a dosage of 5 mg/dose or two sprays at a dosage of 2.5 mg/dose. If there is no effect or if the pain recurs, a second dose is possible, but not earlier than 2 hours after the first dose. The maximum daily dose is 10 mg.

Instructions for use To make Zolmigren Spray more effective, clean the nostrils before using it (blow your nose gently). Before the first use of the drug, press the sprayer several times, directing the spray into the air, until a uniform cloud of spray is formed. Now the drug is ready for use. If more than four weeks have passed since the last use of the drug, the first spray should be made into the air to prevent the use of an incomplete dose. In the period between use, the vial with the drug should be stored with a tightly closed cap. When using the bottle should be held with the spray up. Tilt your head slightly forward, insert the sprayer into the nostril, slightly tilting the tip of the sprayer from the center of the nose, and make one click. If necessary, repeat the same with the other nostril.
